...favourite book of the moment and even more special as Miss I and I met the one and only AMAZING Zoe Foster and she signed our books... no biggie... oh, and did I mention the three of us all had the same colour nail polish on..?! I didn't?! Oh, total BFF's...

... and yes, I HAD to post the most stunning pic on the Internet at the moment - Christine Centenera, Fashion Ed @ Australia Harpers Bazaar in a gorgeous Lover lace dress and Balmain pants at the couture shows in Paris...

...books to read...

...just found out about these two fabulous sounding books... have added them to my reading list and will be hunting them down next time I'm out and about...!

Best thing is, they have both been turned into movies! So for all you non-book-worms out there, keep your eyes peeled for them at a cinema near you...!!

P.S how much do we lurrrve Kate Hudson?! I just watched the trailer and I think her character is similar to the one she plays in "Bride Wars"...

...meeting Maggie Alderson...!!

Last night saw Miss S and I head out to Readings in Hawthorn to meet the lovely Maggie Alderson.

Maggie has written 6 brilliant books, as well as worked on magazines and also has a great column every Sunday in The Age.

Her latest offering, Shall We Dance, has just been released and is set in a vintage store. I have just started reading it and to say I already love it is an understatement!

Maggie invited all of us to bring along any vintage treasures we had, and to have a chat about them. We unfortunatley missed this message, but throughly enjoyed hearing about all the other ladies who bought their goodies along!

Miss S and I joked that it would have been nice to hear her read a section from her new book,

a-la Carrie Bradshaw, but clearly we watch too much Sex and the City...!!

blog name...?

Wonder how many times is "normal" to change the name of your blog...?

I wasn't really happy with the original name , even though it didn't really mean anything...

Thought about "through my eyes..." but I think that implies that the blog will be slightly more thought provoking than it currently is, and I don't think I'm up to that!

I am currently reading "Fabulous Nobodies" by Lee Tulloch, which I have been DYING to get my hands on for the longest time... Love it already and I'm only a few pages in! Fav bit so far is that the main girl, Reality, names all her dresses and thinks fashion is like oxygen...

So I suppose the new title, Fabulous Somebodies, is in honour of that book...

Let's see how long this name lasts...
