...books to read...

...just found out about these two fabulous sounding books... have added them to my reading list and will be hunting them down next time I'm out and about...!

Best thing is, they have both been turned into movies! So for all you non-book-worms out there, keep your eyes peeled for them at a cinema near you...!!

P.S how much do we lurrrve Kate Hudson?! I just watched the trailer and I think her character is similar to the one she plays in "Bride Wars"...

Heartbreaker...

Saw this delightful movie with my gorgeous friend Miss I, a week or two ago...

It stars the divine Vanessa Paradis and spunky Romain Duris...

Super lovely movie, with Vanessa being the highlight for me! She is SO tiny and her character Juliette, was oh-so beautifully dressed and even got to shop at Celine...

Love.

New Music LOVE...!!

It has been a great couple of days for me, have been watching some cool (and not so cool...) movies, and I don't know about you, but I LOVE movie music!

Discovered "The Boxer Rebellion" from the wonderful "Going the Distance" featuring Drew Barrymore and Justin Long:

Coolest thing is that they actually play themselves in the movie! So I got to hear lots of their music...

I found another awesome song while the credits were running - Airbourne Toxic Event "Half of Something Else"... Reading up on them as we speak...(type ?read ?...)

Also discovered Boyce Avenue whilst clicking away on the net one day... From my understanding they sing covers, but man do they do a great job!
Fav at the moment is "The Freshman" , originally by Verve Pipe, from the 90's.

Last but not least was a beautiful song called "Heaven and Hell " by a group called Wild Colonials, from the movie Conviction (starring Hilary Swank and Sam Rockwell)
Great movie!

Why don't you have a bit of a listen next time you watch a movie, you just may pick up something new to add to your music library!

An Education...

I couldn't get back to sleep this morning, so I got up and watched "An Education".

Definitely one of my favourite movies now. It was so so lovely.

Carey Mulligan is just gorgeous.

Do yourself a favour and go see it. Immediately. If not sooner.
