I am yet to work it into my current wardrobe, but i have plans for an amazing Jil Sander-inspired maxi, for upcoming work function...

....plenty o' pleats...

...some things never change... still in love with maxi skirts and anything pleated!

Wore the prettiest pleated skirt yesterday, almost maxi length... think they call that mid length... Purchased for a steal at my favourite-st op shop...

Another thing that hasn't changed is that the lovely gals over at They All Hate Us are still producing awesome blog post after blog of glorious pictures which never fail to make me smile...

Wait till you see the post I'm planning on my fav pics of their recent oversized clutch post!

Such love...!!

maxi-mum love...

I truly envy those bloggers that come up with quirky post titles, most of them a play on words, or a song lyrics or a quote.... I have never been able to, even though I do sit for a while and think before I hit "Publish Post"!

Hope this title isn't too groan-worthy!

xx

Thank you to the mylookbook.com.au blog for the pretty picture!

on the lookout...

Every now and then, I see something online so fabulous that before I know it, i'm clicking that magic "add to cart" button.

Then I stop and realise that I could probably find a similar item on one of my op-shopping trips!
And it would most likely be a little more quirky and cool and most definitely cheaper!

Here are a few pieces I am on the lookout for at the moment...

Cute, 50's style dresses...especially with pleated skirts!

Cropped pants, either wide or slim legged...
As well as anything in this camel-y, mustard-y hue...

Printed blouses and shirts...

Printed pleated skirts... either knee length, mid length or maxi...

Slouchy, comfy tees... preferably in any shade of grey!

So there you have it! My op shop-shopping list! Will definitely have you let you know how I go and if I get to tick anything off this list!

xx

**EDIT**
I managed to pick up a printed pleated skirt and a pair of dark camel-y cropped men's pants...!!
Success! Now for the other things on my list...

these are a few of my favourite things...

Models, especially post-runway shows...

THIS beautiful man, as recently seen in Gossip Girl Season 4... and YES, it is back on in the states, so I will be able to get my fix super soon!!
(oh, and loving his lady friends outfit too!)

Loving a jacket casually slung over your shoulders...

At well over $5000 from Tiffany & Co', surely all I'm allowed to do is dream about this tri-tone bangle...

Loving the shirt, loving the cat-eyed sunnies, loving the side braid...

Even though I own a fair few pastel pieces, I have decided I need to keep an eye out for something in this delicious lilac hue... a super soft cardi, a draped cami... Can you imagine...?

Yes, I am still completely and utterly obsessed with any type of maxi skirt and anything with pleats... These two pictures tick both those boxes!!
