industrie mag....

I finally got around to picking up a copy of Industrie magazine yesterday... I had heard great things about it, mostly through Twitter and a few blogs, so decided it was worth a look...

I love it.

Firstly, it is quite large in size and taller than your average magazine. The pages are half glossy, half paper-y, some are colour and some are black and white...

Their website describe it as:

INDUSTRIE IS THE FIRST AND ONLY MEDIA TITLE DEDICATED TO PRESENTING AN INDEPENDENT, IN-DEPTH LOOK AT THE FASHION INDUSTRY, GOING BEHIND THE SCENES TO CHRONICLE THE PERSONALITIES, STORIES AND DEFINING MOMENTS IN THE WORLD OF FASHION.

FOUNDED IN 2009 BY ERIK TORSTENSSON AND JENS GREDE, OF THE SATURDAY-GROUP, INDUSTRIE AIMS TO SHIFT FOCUS AWAY FROM CURRENT COLLECTIONS AND TRENDS AND PROVIDE A CONSIDERED INSIGHT INTO THE CULTURE OF FASHION. INDUSTRIE DOCUMENTS THE INDIVIDUALS WHO INFLUENCE FASHION AND CRITICALLY EXAMINES THE IDEAS WHICH SHAPE IT.

INDUSTRIE IS PUBLISHED TWICE A YEAR, DISTRIBUTED INTERNATIONALLY BY COMAG AND UPDATED CONTINUALLY ON INDUSTRIEMAGAZINE.COM

Highlights for me include an interview with Tommy Ton, of Jak & Jil fame and "The Lure of Louboutin" story plus accompanying glossy snaps...
I also adore the the "Dream Dinner Guests "pages... a future blog post perhaps...?

I definitely recommend you pick up a copy if you get the chance...

Thanks to Industrie for the pic too...

look at those legs....

*sigh*

The always amazing Daria...

...changing it up...!

This week I have changed my moisturiser, starting using a mascara I forgot I had and have been using a bit of pink illuminator under my eyes...Sometimes just a little change can make a world of difference! I feel like I have a whole new "look" - whether it be the fact that I'm not reaching for the same products each morning, or the fact that I think I look a bit different (and hopefully better!) without doing anything too drastic.

Some other ideas can be a brighter lip colour, brown/grey eyeliner instead of black (which can sometimes be a bit harsh) or a touch of blush over your bronzer.

Have you done anything differently this week...? Would you next week...?
